There are many wonderful places around the world, but the city and state of New York is one of the best and most exciting in the world. New York state and New York city is many things to many people, and for many visitors New York is the ultimate vacation getaway or even the best place to live.

If you have always wanted to visit New York but never have, it is a good idea to at least start planning a visit. Just about every airline around the world flies into New York, and New York sports three major airports to serve the long list of visitors from around the world.

After you arrive in New York there are plenty of places to stay, and New York has thousands and thousands of hotel rooms from which to choose. The prices of New York hotels can be a bit on the expensive side, but if you shop around early you should be able to snag a bargain. New York City is quite easy to navigate and it is easy to get around using the expensive and excellent system of buses and subways. Even so, location is important when it comes to New York lodging, and it is a good idea to refer to a map when making your booking, especially if you have never been to New York before.

It is a good idea as well to bring along a good map when you finally arrive for your New York vacation. Knowing where you are and where you are going is always a good idea, and although New York streets are easy to navigate a map will come in handy.

After you have your place to stay it is time to get out and explore all that New York has to offer. New York truly has it all, from world class restaurants and cafes to the best museums in the world. And of course New York is rightly famous for its theatres, with the best plays in the world playing on and off Broadway. If you love the theatre, you will love New York, and you will want to return year after year. No matter what you are looking for in a vacation, chances are that New York has it. From lush forests to urban jungles, New York City and New York state have something to offer to every traveler from every part of the world.
